Disability and Inclusion: how to make it work seminar
Lincoln Occupational Health is pleased to be hosting a breakfast seminar on ‘Disability and Inclusion: how to make it work’, in partnership with law firm Edwin Coe LLP and the recruitment firm, The Maine Group on Tuesday, 16 October 2018.
Agenda
An estimated 20% of the adult workforce are disabled within the meaning of the Equality Act 2010. This is a sizeable and valuable segment of the workforce and employers need to ensure all their workforce is correctly managed. This is not only to increase stability and productivity in the workplace but also to protect employers from claims – compensation for disability discrimination is potentially unlimited.
Run as a case study, this seminar provides employers with tools to get the best from their staff by creating an inclusive and productive working environment for all. It also provides an update on recent legal developments, and practical tips and advice on the role of Occupational Health.
