Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Users
The Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations require all workstations to be assessed to ensure compliance with the law. This action is not only a legal requirement but can also help to improve efficiency and minimise the risk of discomfort, injury and even absence from work.
We offer two types of courses:
1. Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Users
This course is designed for anyone who uses a computer for a significant part of their work day.
The course covers the pertinent legislation and regulations, health, ergonomics and the effects of technology. It is designed to be suitable for display screen users in all workplaces and can include specific training on company procedures and equipment.
2. Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Assessor Training Course
This course is designed for people with an interest in DSE and the associated health and safety – especially if they are to carry out assessments on behalf of their company.
This course will give delegates a comprehensive understanding of the Regulations and the skills and knowledge to carry out workstation assessments and to recommend suitable control measures thereby enabling delegates to ensure both workstations and the working environment are satisfactory for all employees. The course will discuss and solve typical DSE-related problems by undertaking practical training and assessment.
Both courses can be tailored to clients’ needs in terms of duration and budget.
