Maternity & Redundancy Guide
Acas and the Equality and Human Rights Commission have published a Good Practice Guide to help small businesses and employers ensure that they deal effectively and fairly with pregnant employees and those on maternity leave, when managing the redundancy process.
The Guide includes a checklist for understanding pregnancy and maternity protection; managing redundancy for women who are pregnant or on maternity leave, and a section on myth-busting. The Guide is available to download FREE from the ACAS website: www.acas.org.uk.
